Microsoft Releases Two New Free Visio 2010 Templates

  1. Rack Server Virtualization Template is based on Microsoft Visio 2010 Add-in for Rack Server Virtualization, which uses various new features of Visio 2010 to display the details of servers, racks and colors present in the data center.

  2. U.S. Weather Conditions templates and the data file utilize Microsoft’s mash-up demo using the “Link Data to Shapes” and “Data Graphics” capabilities in Visio Professional 2010 to bind our USA map and weather detail diagrams to value changes in the public MSN weather data source. Right from the Visio client you can publish to a SharePoint site, and with minor JavaScript coding, established the interaction between the two webparts, whereby clicking an individual state shape in one diagram updates the detailed weather information in the other diagram.
