Microsoft Releases Updated Security Essentials Version 2

Ignore that this new (12/16/2010) Microsoft Download Page states this is Security Essentials Version 1 – both these 32 & 64 bit versions of Security Essentials are indeed Microsoft’s new Version 2.0

Version 2.0 Updates:

    • Better Protection Against Web Based Threats
    • Network Inspection System (not avail for Windows XP)
    • Updated Malware Engine
    • Windows Firewall Integration
