Microsoft Releases Three Software Updates for Macintosh: IM, Remote Desktop & Windows Phone 7 Connector

Microsoft Messenger for Mac 8 provides real-time collaboration between people in different locations. You can use instant messaging and audio and video calls to communicate with your contacts.

You can sign in to Messenger for Mac 8 by using a Windows Live ID. Windows Live IDs include all e-mail accounts ending in “@live.com”, “@hotmail.com”, “@msn.com” and other accounts registered with Windows Live.


Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac 2.1.0 lets you connect from your Macintosh computer to a Windows-based computer or to multiple Windows-based computers at the same time. After you have connected, you can work with applications and files on the Windows-based computer.


Windows Phone 7 Connector (for Mac) – Beta  lets you synchronize your favorite music, videos, photos and podcasts from iTunes and iPhoto to your Windows Phone 7, so you can take your media with you wherever you go.
