Microsoft Blogger, Kurt Shintaku, found two free Windows 7 tools worth a (re)mention:  Power Plan Assistant & WhoCrashed.
    1. Power Plan Assistant is a smart power plan management application, designed specifically for Windows 7. Easily manage & switch between all of Windows 7’s built-in/custom power plans and instantly power off/on a display. 
    2. WhoCrashed 2.00 shows the drivers which have been crashing your Windows 7 computer.
