Microsoft Removes “Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool” Due to Possible “Lifted GPL Code”

After one month, Microsoft has removed their "Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool" due to issues of possible "lifted GPL code" documented on Rafael’s Within Windows blog.
The current "Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool" link displays:

Of course, TechNet always provides more than one solution!
UPDATE 11/13: Microsoft has confirmed their Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool does contains GPLv2 code (although they say it was not intentional).  Microsoft will make the source code as well as binaries for this tool available next week under the terms of the General Public License v2.
