Microsoft Updates “My Phone” Service & Software for Windows Mobile 6+

Microsoft My Phone provides online access to the content on your Windows mobile phone. This free service syncs the important information on your Windows phone (e.g., contacts, calendar appointments, tasks, text messages, photos, video, etc.) with a password protected Web site. Once synchronized, it’s easy to back-up and restore your phone data. My Phone provides an easy-to-use Web portal where you can access and manage content on your phone, and share that information with others.
Instructions:
    1. Be sure to select the correct file to download depending if your Windows Mobile phone is a touchscreen or non-touchscreen device.
    2. After downloading the CAB file to your PC, it must be copied to your Windows Mobile phone (e.g., place in Programs folder).
    3. Using File Explorer on your phone, locate the downloaded CAB file on your phone and double-click on the file to install the application on your phone. The “Microsoft My Phone” application will be added to your list of installed Programs.
    4. Select the application and follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
SERVICE UPDATE –>  The Microsoft My Phone service is temporarily unavailable while we upgrade our system.
During this time, you will be unable to access the My Phone online portal or synchronize changes on your phone. Be assured, the data that you have already synched will not be impacted. When the service resumes around 3pm (GMT) on Tuesday, October 6th, there will be a number of exciting new features, so be sure to check them out by returning to this web site.
Regards,
The My Phone Team
