I try to keep my blog as fair and balanced as possible; but as a Microsoft consultant (and MVP) I’m obviously biased.
Apple’s "I’m a Mac" advertisements are clever, but misleading. Apple is really a "closed system" – Apple dictates the hardware, operating system, and applications. Microsoft works with MANY different hardware and software partners.Apple’s iPhone advertisements state it’s just like surfing on your desktop — yet without Java and Flash support this is disingenuous. It’s easy to understand why Mac Fan Boys blindly overlook Apple’s shortcomings, but it’s frustrating that our mainstream press is just as naive.Well today . . . Microsoft FINALLY released a great response (retort?) to Apple’s Mac advertisements. I could not be more pleased that Microsoft is addressing the issues that I’ve been personally attempting to defend for the past few years! So without further ado — pah-lease watch Microsoft’s New "I’m a PC: Pride” (01:01)" Commercial

Hmmmmm . . . Let’s see if the mainstream press discuss Microsoft’s new advertising campaign as much as they heralded both of Apple’s iPhone 1.0 and 2.0 releases! (^_^)
