Microsoft Releases Updated “Shared Computer Toolkit” – Renamed “Windows SteadyState”

 
Windows SteadyState (formerly known as "Shared Computer Toolkit") for Windows XP helps manage public computers (i.e. school computer lab, Internet Café, library, or even in your home).
 
Windows SteadyState helps keep your computers running the way you want them to, no matter who uses them.

Windows SteadyState Handbook for step-by-step instructions about how to install and set up SteadyState, create and customize user profiles, establish global computer settings and restrictions, and use other features and capabilities of SteadyState (such as Windows Disk Protection).
